UCCSVPN Setup - iOS
VPN Connection
The UCCSVPN connects your UCCS or personal computer to the
UCCS campus network from an off-campus location.
Open Settings and
add a VPN configuration
Open the Settings application on your phone, then tap Add
VPN Configuration
For the VPN Type, select L2TP
Then click Back. You should see the page below
Enter VPN Information
For the Description, enter UCCSVPN
For the Server, enter uccsvpn.uccs.edu
Account will be your full UCCS email address with the @uccs.edu at
the end
Password will be the password you use to sign into your UCCS account
For Secret, enter UCCS (This field is case sensitive. Make
sure you are entering UCCS in all caps)
Leave the rest of the fields and boxes as the default, then tap Done
in the top right corner
Connect to the VPN
Tap on the UCCSVPN configuration to connect
Verify VPN Connection
The Status bar at the top should say Connected,
and you should see VPN with a box around it in the top right
corner of the screen
This means the VPN was setup and connected successfully
