Lab & Laptop Reimage Checklist

MAKE SURE DOWNLOADS ARE FOR ALL USERS

• Image computer with OIT Lab image
  • Use cobit@uccs.edu for domain account
• Run BIOS update
• Put on domain and move to correct Active Directory Location*

  • *  OIT Labs 11\COBIT

• Rename
• Follow instructions to download applications using scripts

1. Navigate to “\\bender\cobit\TysStuff\LabScripts” on bender
2. Copy contents of “Install_all_auto”
3. Open Power Shell as administrator
4. Paste and run the script into Power Shell
   1. This will download all applications in “\\bender\cobit\TysStuff\Lab Refresh\INSTALLS ONLY”

                  (office is already in OIT image)

                  This includes but is not limited to:

• • Lockdown Browser
  • SPSS
  • R
  • Tableau
  • PowerBI
  • Office
  • Zoom

• Check for Windows along with Microsoft store updates (log time of last update)
• Check for Office updates
• Double check everything one last time
• Add Business Admin Account (PW: Bus1ness123!)

Labs 109, 122, 123 (additional apps to download)

• LanSchool (Install student.msi and use channel 1, found on bender at “\\bender\COBIT\Applications\Liscenced LanSchool\Windows”
• Project_Visio (Tentative after SP 2025)
• INFS classes have requested we have conda and its packages downloaded on lab machines, to do this follow these instructions

1. Navigate to “\\bender\COBIT\TysStuff\LabScripts” on bender
2. Click and install the Anaconda3 executable
3. After Install open “Anaconda Power Shell” as administrator
4. Copy and paste the script from “install_conda” (From same directory in bender) into the Anaconda Power Shell and run it
   • This installs the requested packages for conda
